Customer Services Advisor

£18,000 to £24,000

We are an award-winning logistics business in the heart of the Surrey countryside and are looking for a candidate to join the Service Centre - Partner Support Team. The ideal candidate will act as first response to all queries for the Service Centres, Partners and HQ.

We are growing at pace and this position is an exciting opportunity to gain experience, develop and grow in a fun, fast paced and exciting environment.

The role of Customer Services Advisor is pivotal in keeping the Service Centre's services, systems and software running efficiently and effectively, as well as gathering feedback for improvements for future development and enhancement. You will be required to escalate any challengers or concerns that the system users are experiencing and respond to any issues raised.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of support and customer service to the Network of Service Centres through tickets, emails, telephone calls and video calls
  • Complete Network Partner launch administration to support the launch of our new Network Partners and their Service Centres, supporting the Learning and Development Officer
  • Carry out a range of processing tasks to include orders and stationery supplier management 
  • Troubleshoot all queries and work with the Technology Team to resolve
  • Database Management duties and updating of information 
  • Key communicator between our internal team and external carrier suppliers managing all carrier administration and client expectations
  • Help to enhance the product and services knowledge of the network partners through creation of FAQ'S, How-To's and videos. 
  • Take ownership of personal development and training through regular review of performance against business objectives and take responsibility for self-development 
  • Support the business in meeting the customer and network partner demands within agreed service levels aligned to our business goals of Launch , Nurture and Evolve.


The ideal candidate will have the following role focused skills:

  • Strong general IT skill set and be proficient in Microsoft office, 
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills,
  • Problem-solving skills and can-do attitude 
  • Confident in writing procedural documents and train these out to the system users. 
  • Customer Service skills and a desire to deliver an excellent customer experience (both internal & external)
  • Continuous Improvement mindset

Operations Assistant

£18,000 to £25,000, negotiable upon experience

We are an award-winning logistics business in the heart of the Surrey countryside looking for a candidate who loves working in a fun and fast paced environment to join our Operations Team.

The role of Operations Assistant ensures we are providing an excellent client experience and is pivotal in ensuring our very important parcels reach their recipient via our couriers or carrier network.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • End to end booking process of client sameday booking transactions
  • Ensure all drivers are adopting mobile applications relevant to transaction type
  • Confirm sameday bookings are executed seamlessly and update clients as required
  • Provide tracking information and proof of delivery as required for multi carrier and sameday bookings
  • Provide quotations to clients
  • Carrier invoice checking
  • Pro-active shipment exception management
  • Client service administration including answering incoming queries via telephone and shared email inbox
  • Ensure high office standards are adhered too and maintained
  • Raise and manage all client claims
  • Liaise as required with sub-contractors, carriers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Support with review of client and operational account performance


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Customs knowledge post Brexit would be an advantage
  • Understanding of GDPR would be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Highly organised, structured and diligent
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Full Time – 45 hours per week

Telesales Executive

£25,000 to £30,000 + commission, OTE up to £35,000

Relationship building and creating meeting opportunities with potential clients is your key focus, by working on leads, engaging with non trading customers and getting their attention. The role consists of outbound telesales calls, email, LinkedIn methods and any proactive outbound channels to get our potential customers engaged. These roles will suit somebody who wants to be part of a growing business, thrives on teamwork, you are a driven, motivated and an energetic person who wants to be part of a successful and dynamic team at Diamond. In return, you'll receive a Good Basic plus excellent, uncapped commission and bonuses.

  • Increase your own sales numbers as well as support commercial managers with appointments or conversion. Teamwork is critical for success.
  • Provide monthly data analysis gains / losses / projections.
  • Maintain full compliance with all company policies


Building relationships, delivering results and a great communicator are essential skills for this particular role within our newly formed Commercial team. Having the experience in opportunity qualification is desirable but equally, an individual that can manage priorities, be self-sufficient and be a strong personality within our team is just as crucial.

Having the essential technical literacy is an assumption but the collating of data, being organised, listening to our potential clients and recording the dialogue is all as important.

Network Sales Executive

Our business is looking for someone to join our National Sales Team. This role will involve receiving and managing inbound and outbound enquiries, while searching and adding new prospects to your pipeline, supporting with the conversion process and relationship managing until the prospect is passed on to the next stage of on-boarding and launch. 

Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to build relationships fluidly with potential partners. The ideal candidate will have good housekeeping and experience using CRM systems. Knowledge of the express carrier industry would be of benefit, however not essential as training will be provided.

Warehouse Operative and Driver

£17,000 to £21,000

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Fulfilment Centre is Health and Safety compliant at all times, taking ownership for your own practices including wearing the correct PPE at all times
  • Client daily parcel collections and same day jobs where required
  • Complete vehicle checks ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good working order
  • Receipt incoming deliveries and put away
  • Pick, pack and despatch fulfilment order requests
  • Returns process; completing stock and system movements and informing clients
  • Stock replenishment
  • Stock inventory; counting and confirming stock quantities
  • Responsible for ensuring procedures are followed as per the book of diamond and any internal procedures are updated accordingly
  • Ensure the Fulfilment Centre embodies diamond standards and is client ready at all times and maintain shop floor locations aligned with WMS
  • Live and breathe the client experience and ensure all steps are followed, with emphasis on client on-boarding
  • Clients on-boarded on to systems and trained to complete necessary tasks
  • Keep clients in the know with any queries or concerns raised and the resolution
  • Ensure client stock records are accurately held and maintained on the warehouse management system

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Physically fit
  • Full UK Drivers licence
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Basic IT skills

  • Knowledge of the local area would be an advantage
